The spacious apartment (140 m2) is suitable for 4to6 people and is situated on the ground floor with its own independent entrance and terrace. It consists of a large living room with dining area, open fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 big bed rooms.
Upstairs there are two big rooms (25-20 m2) with one bathroom,both are decorate in different styles. Because there is just one bathroom the rooms will be rent out together only on request.
Adje has created a natural garden that blends into the landscape and provides a lot of sitting areas, both in the garden aswell in the olive grove with 200 olivetrees, or on the edge of the natural swimming pond perfect for enjoying the peace and quietness from the splendid views of the surrounding. Together with a good glass of wine from Castello di Montegiove you get the real Dolce Vita feeling.
Old oak trees, pine trees, cypresses and many flowering plants like rosemary, lavender, heleborus,jasmin, hybiscus, oleander, the old dry stone walls are restored and sculptures and other objects let you discover something in every part of the garden.
Because of its hilltop location, Podere del Buongustaio offers you incredible amazing panoramic views from the garden and at the pool. After many years I am still impressed by the ever changing light and coloring spes in Umbria are breathtaking, especially in spring and autumn the extraordinary light reflects the character of these unique landscapes. It is easy to see that the colors “Siena” and “Umbra” have their origin here.
